I had vaginal itching and burning after menstruation and it prolonges till the next menustration period. During period there was no itching. I consumed flucanazole, use clotrimazole cream and presently using 3 night clindamycin and clotrimazole vaginal suppositories. still i have little itching and today will be 3rd doze i have to take. Morning i have slight headache and giddiness also. My last menstruation was on 23 August 2015
Persistent vaginal itching despite medications might be due to: - Irritants in the chemicals used in cosmetics - Skin diseases like eczema, psoriasis - Bacterial vaginosis - Yeast infection - Stress - STD's etc.
I advise you to: 1. Maintain good hygiene and avoid feminine products 2. Work up to eliminate other underlying disease 3. Urine routine, urine culture and vaginal swab must be done
Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
