What Causes Persistent Vaginal Itching?

I have had vaginal itching for over 4 months, my doctor said there was no infection and it may be that I am allergic to my laundry detergent, fabric softener, bath soap, etc. I switched detergent to a no color no perfume and switched to dove soap of the same. However, I still have the itch, what could be causing this?

Hi,
From history it seems that there might be having some yeast infection giving this problem.
There might be having possibility of having allergic sensitivity to synthetic inner wears.
Apply triple action cream locally.
Wear cotton inner wears.
Keep local hygiene clean, dry and airy.
Ok and take care.
