What Causes Persistent Vomiting After Discontinuation Of Medication?

Sir, My 2 year 2 month daughter having vomiting for the last 2 weeks only in the morning - yellow color. Moreover its is not happening daily. Doctor prescribed ONDEM or DOMSTAL and pecef 50. Did neutralization twice a day. .. As per doctors, its because of cough. Yesterday we stopped all medicine as per doctor advice. Today morning again she starts vomiting- yellow color. Need your suggestions.. Doing teeth grinding occasionally.. There is no fever

Hi,
I understand your concern.
Your daughter is getting vomiting early in morning . A couple of conditions can lead to such condition.
- Cough in children ( who can not take it out by coughing ) .. which has been already treated 8in your child's case.. still evaluation of the status of infection & change in antibiotics as per need should be considered. Please consult your treating doctor for investigations like blood counts/ culture of the sputum/ throat swab, followed by necessary change in treatment plan.
-Acidity .. caused by antibiotic given/ lac of eating , may lead to bile regurgitation.. which needs ..
- Chang in diet plan( small / frequent servings of bland, non spicy, cold food like milk at room temperature) along with ondem would help.
- thread worm infestation can many a times lead to cough as well as gastric disturbances along with teeth grinding. You can deworm the baby with any albendazole preparation for children.. as per your doctor's advise.
