Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
My grandson vomitted 7 times last night. The doctor gave him maalox and the vomitting stopped. But today, he barely ate. He just drank water and pice of pancake. Just now, he took erceflora. Would this be enough? Do i have to bring him to the hospital?
Vomiting may be caused by gastritis. They generally settle in few days. Just give here more fluids. If she is improving and vomiting is settling, no need to take here to hospital. Give her the medicine and more fluids .
If vomiting is persistent then you can take here to hospital but I hope it won't be needed.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards,
Dr. Mahboob Ur Rahman,
