What Causes Persistent Weakness And Fatigue With Loss Of Appetite?

I started feeling weak on Monday noon. Had a slight fever 98.8 to 99.4 on Monday night. I have been very tired and have slept about 17 hours over the last 24 hours. I ve had a loss of appetite, have eaten saltines, and had ginger ale to drink and was able to eat a baked potato and steamed broccoli last night . The fever only got as high as 100.2 yesterday, but there is no fever today. I thought I was feeling better upon waking today, but after 2 hours started feeling weak and tired again. Is it the flu? I am a teacher and just started my summer vacation, but have crashed in the energy level.
