What Causes Persistently Occurring Light Periods?

Hi this is Sarah. 36 years old married one child. It s been 3 or 4 years that I ve been having very short and light period. It last in 2 days. I m starting to get worry about it. Asked my GP about this but she said its ok and no need to be worry about. Now, I just like to know what s your thoughts?? Thanks

Hi, I think you should go for evaluation. Do a thyroid profile and prolactin levels and a ultrasound for your uterus and ovaries to find out the number of follicles in your ovaries. It can be due to some thyroid disorder or hormonal imbalances.
