Thank you for writing to Health Care Magic

I commend you for taking the first step to manage your health. I have gone through your question and am here to help.

Based on the description that you have given, it seems that you have a throat infection that is caused by a Streptococcus group of bacteria. But this bacteria is possibly resistant to the Amoxicillin. Also, another issue can be the dose at which the Amoxicillin was given and if you took it correctly.

The right dose or amount is to take 500 mg of Amoxicillin 3 times a day for 3 days. Failing to do so can result in a resistant strain of bacteria. I recommend that you see a Doctor as soon as possible and get a culture and sensitivity done. Using this, you will know which drug the bacteria is susceptible to.

This will help you get to the cause and then you can start treatment.

Hope this helps you. Please follow up for more help.
