What Causes Persisting Radiating Pain From Back Down To Legs Post Injury?

Last Saturday, while exiting a hot tub, I slipped on ice and fell directly onto the wooden stairs resulting in extreme pain and bruising on my back near my underarm and above my right hip. I had x-rays and they were all negative for fracture. However, the pain in my hip and back has not subsided and worsens, radiating down into my leg while standing for extended periods of time. I also feel pressure in my pelvis while standing for long periods of time. I just wondered if I should be more concerned or if this is just common for the type of injury I sustained.
