Welcome at HCM
I have gone through your query and being your phyiscian i completely understand your health concerns.
what is his age? for how long u are suffering from it? any other associated problem? like
diabetes or hypertension? any history of TB in past or exposure to TB? are u having fever? any other lymph node swelling in ur body?is swelling on both sides of neck or not? any association of food intake with pain? any history of surgery in past? any history of heart diseases?? what is his occupation? any stress factor in your family?
based upon your history it is very difficult to diagnose. feeling of being not well requires a lot of workup before labeling a patient psychosomatic....
In my opinion you should meet another phyiscian , if u have visited one as it is appropriate to take
second opinion....
if i am his attending phyiscian i will do his all baselines including FBC LFTs RFTs ESR CRP ECG ECHO CHEST X RAY......
after then i will i will refer him to
psychiatrist for workup..
as far as his pain is concerned, it has many differentials. he should get his ECG along with SERUM
amylase levels. i will prefer abdominal
ultrasound to look for any
gall stones too..
meanwhile stay calm and use
OMEPRAZOLE 40mg , if it is due to stomach problem it would be relieve, and meet your doctor for accurate diagnosis
may he get well soon
Hope your query is adequately addressed if you still have any feel free to ask
Regards
Dr Saad Sultan
