What Causes Pessimistic Thoughts And Fatigue While On Lamictal?

My doctor gave me Lamactil 25mg for 2 weeks. Went up to 50mg on the 19th. Started getting stupid depressed manic and other. Two days ago went back down to 25mg. A little better but still not great. Crying fits. No energy. eating til it hurts, bad thoughts, wondering if i can just stop taking cold turkey
