What Causes Petechiae In Between Ankles And Thighs Along With Edema On Calves?
Hi. I have Petechiae on my legs from ankles to top of my thigh. I also have edema slightly on my calves and under my eyes. This and sore knees happened all at the same time. It was the day after a strenuous hike. I have never had this before. My Dr. Said it was the hike for the Petechiae. I don t know what is causing the rest. Your opinion?

I think you should get further evaluated. You may need to do a total check up to control kidney and heart function which may be the main causes of edema. A total blood count with formula will check for thrombocytopenia which may be cause of petechiae. Also, cortisol levels should be checked.
