What Causes Petechial Rashes Along With Pain In Abdomen And Knee?

Hell for the past few months I have been having a rash of what looks like petechiae to go along with other symptoms. Left side abdominal pain that comes and goes and pain in my right knee. The upperleft side abdominal pain has been here since I visited Honduras back in 2013 and it started when I woke up one morning and was so severe I couldn t laugh without it hurting. Since then it hasn t been much o a problem and has never been as severe since. Im 17 and I don t know whether to ask my mom to take me to the doctors.?

Hi,

Petechial rashes along with pain in abdomen and knee can be due to many causes
Henoch Schonlein Purpura,
Hemolytic uremic syndrome,
Bleeding disorders etc

I suggest you to go to your physician and get yourself properly examined.
Some tests would be required like
Complete blood count,
urine for r/e,
renal function test,
liver function test,
B.T, C.T, P.T, APTT, Von willebrands factor,
USG whole abdomen.

Review with these reports.

Meanwhile,you can have an antibiotic like cefixime and ofloxacin,
ibuprofen for pain relief,
and a multivitamin capsule.
