What Causes Piece Of Fresh Discharge From Vagina After Taking Contraceptive Pill?
Hello Doctor I had intercourse with my husband on 10th day after my periods I m recently married n I don t want to b pregnant so I had taken an contraception pill n after 13 days a piece of fresh came out n later d next day n experienced with some little blood for few days wats it mean.
1. If you have taken the said pill within 72 hours thus will protect you from pregnancy and the bleeding you are experiencing could be labelled as 'breakthrough bleeding' and usually occurs due to hormonal imbalance, however, if it continues for long time consult your doctor immediately.
2. The bleeding you are referring to could be implantation bleeding [since withdrawal bleeding occurs sooner] and most likely it could be your normal period since i-pill can prepone or postpone your period by a week and can also reduce the amount/quantity of menstrual flow. PS. taking an emergency pill is always associated with menstrual irregularities, so practice safe sex and other reliable methods of birth control.
