Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
My 17year old daughter was coming out in something that looked like hives over her body for a couple of weeks. They weren't itchy though. She now has pimple like bumps coming up and developing into sores of some sort mainly around her mouth. We were told the hives were an allergic reaction and to wait.
Understanding your concern. As per your query pimple like bumps around mouth could be due to decreased immunity, stress , hormonal changes or certain medicines which destroy normal flora of mouth and leading to condition known as PERIORAL DERMATITIS. Need not to worry. I would suggest you to maintain proper oral hygiene. You should apply dologel on finger and apply them around mouth. You should avoid sugary foods. If condition still persists then consult dentist /oral pathologist for proper examination and treatment. You should take probiotic food such as yoghurt. Drink plenty of water. Take diet rich in liquids and multivitamins.
Hope your concern has been resolved.
