Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
Hi I got bumps on my chest that just become hard pice of skin seems like it s becoming a pimple but it just stays lifted and sealed once in a while if It brakes the skin only blood looking pus will come out then the bump goes down and it just leaves a red looking dot from where it once was.. Could you help?
It may look like pimples but It is cherry angioma. It will do you no harm if not touched, scratched or picked. However if it shows some growth, you should get it clinically examined by a dermatologist, he will recommend few tests and biopsy to rule out skin cancer. If you want to remove it for cosmetic reasons, your dermatologist will recommend cryosurgery, shave excision, electrocautery, laser surgery, etc., whatever is best for you.
Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards,
Dr. Nupur K., General & Family Physician
