What Causes Pimple Like Soreness At Floor Of The Mouth After Having Unsafe Oral Sex?

Hello, the floor of my mouth, where the lingual frenulum connects has a swollen, pimple-like sore, so far it does not appear to have any white like an ulcer but I m worried I have herpes or something. I had unprotected oral sex but only for like 10 seconds or less. Please help.Thank you, Jen

Hi Dear,

Welcome to Health Care Magic Team. Understanding your concern. As per your query you have soreness on inner side of mouth along with pimple type lesion which is mainly due to minor injury to lingual frenulam after having oral sex. Your symptoms does not seem like herpes. Need not to worry about it. Apply apple cedar vinegar with the help of cotton on the lesion. Maintain proper oral hygiene. Rinse with listerine mouthwash. Apply aloe vera gel. Your symptoms will resolve with in one week. Avoid sharp hot and spicy food substances. Take oral corticosteroids if symptoms keeps on persisting. Drink plenty of water.
