What Causes Pimple Near Nipple?

Hello, I had what i thought was a pimple near the top right of my right nipple, which i popped and forgot about. Its been maybe 3 days and now its has a little bit of redness surrounding it and tender to touch. But this morning i noticed what looks like the redness moving up away from the pimple up towards my armpit maybe. Its not a direct line to my armpit but it is moving away from the pimple...should i be concerned? Or just wait for it to heal?

Hi ,am not sure about the extent of redness on the nipple ,looks like its an infective lesion to be checked by a doctor and be prescribed antibiotics.
