What Causes Pimples That Spread Deeply In The Skin Despite Taking Medications?
My son is now 3 month old. When he was 2 month old, i found rashes on his elbow and thefaces I consult a pediatrician Dr. Tell me to wear him cotton clothes and use Teddy bar soap and Fluticasone cream I.P. And he is alright at that time. After few weeks back i found rashes on his back, legs and pimples on his head and it becomes violent. At that time, i see a skin specialist, he give the medicines Truecort kid suspension,Polaramine and clodip cream. Its all clear then And now there pimples on head and face. I again consult the same Dr. He tell me to add medicine Azithromycin oral suspension and Atopia cream. Now i fear to give this all medicines to my son.if it make him any problems like..over dose..
The issue of pimples spreading under the skin seems related to bacterial infection most likely. The azithromycin given in recommended pediatric doses, do not pause any major threat to life as over dose and others. However, a comprehensive metabolic work up is mandatory for this child to find out the root cause of the condition to cure at its earliest.
Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
