I ve started having this pinching in chest , discomfort now in left sidenof back and today was having trouble with balance kept falling to the left while trying to walk sounds dumb I know but have slight numbness in left side of face. just turned 63 is this normal?
Hello dear, thanks for your question on HCM. I can understand your situation and problem. Your symptoms are suggestive of acute cerebrovascular stroke (CV stroke). It is due to either infarction or haemorrhage in the brain. So immediately consult neurologist and get done 1. Clinical examination of central nervous system. 2. MRI brain with contrast. MRI is must for the diagnosis. Also get done blood pressure monitoring. Because high blood pressure can also cause similar symptoms. So don't wait at home, immediately consult neurologist and start appropriate treatment. This condition, if not treated promptly can be lethal.
