What Causes Pinching Sensation And Difficulty In Bending The Knee?

A few weeks ago I felt a pinch in my knee when pushing hard on a shovel. Since then I have had some trouble bending and straightening it. It also have had pain with standing and tenderness along the lateral side of the knee with a little bit of swelling. It isn t bone pain. What could it be? And is it time to look for an orthopedic doctor in my area?

Hello,

I think you can go to an orthopedic doctor. I think it can be tendinitis inflammation of the tendons due to injury of hard work. Taking anti-inflammatory drugs such as Advil or acetaminophen for pain is advisable. You may need to have rest and avoid movement for a while till it gets better.
