My 13 year old daughter has pink blotches on her legs and back. They are not all over, just here and ther and about the size of a nickel. They are not raised, nor itchy. Just pinkish-reddish circular patches. They started appearing last fall. Cortizone creams and anti-fungal creams don t work. We have been to the dermatologist, who prescribed cream that, when applied several times a day, eventually makes them disappear after a few weeks. But this is too much maintenance. Is this a fungal infection? Would an oral medication work better? Does this relate to her incredibly smelly feet and dandruff that started appearing about the same time?
