What Causes Pink Semen After Having Sex In Men?
I noticed after sex that my residual sperm is pinkish in color, this just started less than a week ago. I have a history of enlarge prostrate, with a PSA count of 7 to eight. I usually have a advanced PSA test and see my urologist every 6 months. I ve had a biopsy some years ago, which came back negative. I have been taken Finasteride 5mg for a number of years. Don

Pink colored semen may be due to presence of blood in semen.
You may get a semen analysis for the detection of red blood cells in semen.
One of cause of blood in semen in infection or inflammation of urethra, seminal vesicle, prostate, epididymis or vas deferens.
A history of enlarged prostate and PSA up to 7-8 ng/mL is quite suggestive of prostatitis.
Thus, prostatitis is the most probable cause of blood in semen and thus its pink color.
