What Causes Pink Spotting After Having Unprotected Sex?
Hi, my cycle came on 12/14/15 and I had sex 12/23/15 - 12/29/15 on an off. On 12/30/15 i have cramping and bright pink spotting that turn brown. Today I am still bleeding with cramping and low back pain off and on. Also on 12/29/15 I had sex and have acupuncture 45min after. Please help me understand what going on. I am ttc.

Most common cause of pink spotting after having sex is bleeding from cervix ( the lower part of uterus). Cervix has high blood supply & Even when cervix is healthy, vigorous sex can cause some bleeding. This mostly occurs when you have vaginal dryness or less vaginal lubrication.
However bleeding from cervix can be because of some abnormality in cervix. In case of cervix abnormality, even gentle sex in presence of enough vaginal lubrication could cause bleeding.
Therefore a Pink spotting could be a sign of cervix abnormality. If you have never got a pap smear test done previously, You are advised a pap smear to ruleout a cervix problem.
Refer to a gynaecologist.
