What Causes Pink Spotting And Cramps After Menstrual Periods?
One week after my period ended, i spotted pink and started cramping. The next day I spotted light brown and again cramped. I am no longer spotting but have been cramping for 5 days now. I also started feeling nauseas and tired today. I have always had very regular periods, so this has me panicked. What can it be?

Pathologist and Microbiologist, Dr. S. Samanta's Response
Hi! thanks for your post on HCM!
Well, if I were your treating physician for the cause of pink spotting and cramps after menstrual periods in otherwise normal healthy female with regular periods, I would like to consider following possibilities as:
1. infection in the birth canal, uterus, cervix or the vagina
2. pelvic infections
3. endometriosis
4. uterine polyp or cervical polyp/Nabothian cyst
6. sudden hormonal changes could be ovarian pathology
7. malignancy, rarely
Therefore, you need to see a gynecologist in your area for ultrasonography and PAP test and to relieve your concerns...
