Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
I have pink strings coming out of my vagina. It s not a lot but it been coming out. My period just stopped on last Tuesday but I was still spotting. I very never seen this before. I just had gallbladder my removed last Thursday and I have never had an STD. What the hell is going on?????
Spotting and slight pink colored discharge can be seen during ovulation and implantation (and that is one when pregnancy is confirmed). Pre-menstrual syndrome is a syndrome occurring before onset of menstruation. Pre-menstrual syndrome is characterised by lower back pain / discomfort, breast tenderness, bloating, water retention etc.
Light vaginal discharge can also occur. Wait for the onset of your periods for few days. If the menstrual cycles do not start within few days, you will need to consult a gynecologist for further work up.
Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards,
Dr. Iven Romic Rommstein, General Surgeon
