What Causes Pink Vaginal Discharge After Intercourse?

Hi, I've been having a light red/pink discharge for about a week and a half of having some... Rough... sex. I'm on birth control, but I've forgotten a pill a few times; but I'd always double up the next day. I've also been having cramps. Now it's time for my period, and it's not here. Just some white discharge. Can you help explain ?

As a physician, I would like to tell you that red/pink vaginal spotting is between periods is a condition to warrant seriously. Because it indicated that there must be a laceration inside vagina, a polyp or some endometrial lining problem. Thus, I advise you to consult a MD Obgy doctor as soon as possible to rule out other causes and to diagnose your condition after a clinical condition.I would also suggest that you should take your OC Pills daily at a specific timing and should not miss your doses of OC Pills because it is hormone and if taken more can cause hormonal imbalance.
