What Causes Pink Vaginal Discharge After Using Clotrimazole For Thrush?
Hi, I ve just finished using the clotrimazole 6 day pessary for thrush. Ive noticed pink discharge during the last three days of the treatment, is that normal? I ve also been taking the brenda contraceptive pill and have been skipping my periods for a couple of months now, not sure if this has any impact?

Pink colored vaginal discharge is not likely to be associated with treatment of thrush. Oral contraceptive may be associated with withdrawal bleeding. The pink discharge may be due to withdrawal bleeding. I suggest you to observe your subsequent cycles for bleeding. In case the bleeding continues for further cycles, you need to consult your gynecologist.
