What Causes Pink Vaginal Discharge During Menopause?
I m58 menopausal, hasnt had any problems. Went to the bathroom notice pink spotting on toliet paper. No pain at all . was wondering had intercourse had anything to do with it. Had intercourse few times regular than normal. Had a leap pocedure done over9 years ago. So it kind of hard to get a pap on me. My whole top part of my cervix was remove. Otherwise I m fine.
I think you need a total gynecological examination since you are having a complex history of papillomavirus and also you are in menopause. An ultrasound should be done to check endometrial lining if it is thick and causing this. Also, colposcopy should be done to check the column uteri in case of repeated infection of the papillomavirus.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards,
Dr. Olgeta Xhufka, General & Family Physician
