What Causes Pink Vaginal Discharge During Pregnancy?

I am 5 weeks pregnant and I started to have a very light pink mucousy discharge on Saturday in the morning. Then, it stopped. Today I had more of this light pink discharge when I wiped in the morning. This evening I had a very light almost tan colored discharge on my pantiliner with bits of tissue. I have had a missed abortion my first time pregnant, a live birth and then another missed abortion earlier this year in January. I'm afraid this could be another miscarriage!

OBGYN, Maternal and Fetal Medicine 's  Response
Hi, I have gone through your question and understand your concerns. Spotting or bleeding in early pregnancy can be due to:
1= threatened or missed abortion
2. Ectopic pregnancy
3. Bleeding around the foetus( subchorionic haemorrhage)
These can be diagnosed by proper examination and ultrasound.
I would suggest you to consult an OBGYN specialist to get properly examined, investigated and treated accordingly.
Hope you found the answer helpful.
Wishing you good health.
