What Causes Pink Vaginal Discharge Post Unprotected Sex?
Hi, I had unprotected sex with my girlfriend about a week ago. She was however on birth control and I did not orgasm. She (about a week later) started noticing pink vaginal discharge, and I m worried that she might be pregnant. She was a virgin, so that might have contributed to the discharge. I really need some advice, thank you
Chances of pregnancy are very remote, as failure rate of birth control pills is very low and also as you did not had orgasm, it is more unlikely, that you are pregnant. Pink vaginal discharge after sex may be due to small vaginal injuries or injuries of cervical epithelium. The discharge may be also there, due to presence of some infection of genital area.
Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards,
Dr. Satnarain Bansal, General & Family Physician
