Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
I was spotting a light pink discharge for a few hours yesterday with very mild cramping. It is a week before my period. The spotting has stopped completely now. I am a little queasy today and my breasts are sore. We are trying to conceive. Could this have been implantation bleeding? Thank you.
Hi, Thanks for posting in HCM. I understand your concern. Spotting before periods which could be pink in colour could sometime indicate implantation. However, it is not 100% definitive to state that implantation has taken place. Kindly wait for your period dates to arrive. If you miss your periods, you can test your urine sample after a week time to know weather you have conceived or not. Also, you can confirm about its status by getting your blood checked up for beta hCG levels and by means of ultrasound scan. Hope the information provided would be helpful. All the best.
