General & Family Physician, Dr. Vasudha's Response
Hi,
Pinkish spotting you had following sex in early pregnancy can be from mouth of uterus being bruised as it's more vascular in pregnancy. In such a case it should not increase in quantity and there should not be cramping any more. All of the problem should stop with rest. In case it increases, you should immediately visit a gynecologist and start supplementing treatment to fulfill possible deficiency. Only thing at present is to take rest and watch out for any aggravation.
Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards,
Dr. Vasudha Jayant Athavale, General & Family Physician
