What Causes Pinkish Red Spotting Followed By Brown Discharge During Early Pregnancy?
Hi I am 6 weeks pregnant, I had initially very little brown discharge so went to the doctor. He did ultrasound and said the sack is growing yet prescribed me susten once at night, duphaston twice and pause 500 thrice. I started it all from Friday night. But sat I saw pinkish red spotting three to four times and today again brown discharge. Have no stomach cramps and all. Wat could be the bleeding for and that too even after taking tabs?
Spotting brown or pinkish discharge happens in early stages of pregnancy in some women. This doesn't mean a pathology or a problem since ultrasound and blood tests are normal. Doctor's prescribe progesterone to help support the pregnancy. You don't have to worry about it. If the bleeding becomes more intensive with red blood and clots and also back and abdominal pain start you should immediately go to ER.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
