What Causes Pinkish Vaginal Spotting After Having Unsafe Sex?
Hie l have been having pinkish discharge for the past 5 days when l wipe in the bathroom and a drop or 2 on my panty. My period is only due in 5 days. I have been having unprotected sex with my fiancee and yesterday when we had intercourse blood came out and l thought it was my period but today in the morning nothing. I have been having headaches but that could also be because its hot. I am just worried something is wrong with me help.
This pinkish vaginal spotting or you can say bleeding could be as simple as bleeding from some irritation to your vagina that may have been caused during unprotected sexual intercourse.
Do you ever had this problem before?
If there is irritation to the lining of your vagina, you probably shouldn't engage in sexual intercourse without using condom.
Give your vagina time to heal. Also, be aware of any signs of infection like pain, unusual secretions, or continued bleeding.
I would also stay away from tampon use, until a bit of time has passed, so that any possible irritation can heal.
If your symptoms continue or bleeding remains then see a medical professional or your nearby gynecologist.
If there is open wounds in the vagina would greatly increase your chances of contracting a disease or infection.
So,wait and watch for couple of more days or take prophylactic antibiotic small course with help of your primary health care provider.
