What Causes Pinkish Vomit Post Consumption Of Alcohol?
Hi I was hungover today and was throwing up quite a bit and do throw up the food I ingest at least once a day and have been doing it on and off for ten years and am a drinker. After throwing up from a night of drinking about the third time I started throwing up pink bile that tastes gross I didn t eat anything red but I did take two red I.b. profens about an hour before Was the pink from the food coloring of the pills.
There are two possibilities in your case. One could be the tablet which you took just before vomiting. However the another common and serious problem with chronic alcohol users is blood in vomiting. Alcohol leads to irritation to the stomach linings and that results in to bleeding.
You need to do a test on your vomit (if it is persistently pinkish) to look for red blood cells. Meanwhile take antacids and anti vomiting tablets for relief. Control on your drinks too, as it is taking a toll on your health.
I hope my reply will help you. Please write to hcm or me for follow up queries. I wish you good health. Thanks
