General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello there I have read through your question and according to me you are getting pins and needles sensation due to some nerve compression. Since you are experiencing it in the back the compression may be at the level of cervical spine. I would advise you to get an MRI cervical spine done. If your MRI is inconclusive then you should get an electromyography done. For now you may benefit by using a cervical collar.I hope that answers your question. If you have any further questions please feel free to write. Thank you for choosing healthcare magic.
