What Causes Planters Warts On Bottom Of Feet?

HI, I have planters warts on the bottom of my feet. The foot became sore and irritated after picking at the skin surrounding the warts. The soreness has subsided, but there is now a red line on the top of my foot near the sore spot. There is no swelling. Do I need to be concerned about blood poisoning?

Treatment:
Care need to be taken for any injury and infection
medication:
No specific drug needed
Surgical removal is the option in either case, whether this is warts or corn
