Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
Hello, I am a 61 year old female. No health issues, ever. Never any constipation or diarrhea, regular daily. About 2 years ago I had a colonoscopy. Ever since, I have sporadically felt poking sensation in lower left abdomen, below belly button. But within the last 2 months, the poking sensation is constant. It is either in that lower left abdomen pelvic area or higher up just to left and below of belly button. No pain, just poking sensation.
Your symptoms seem to be related to muscular in origin and likely due to weak abdominal structure. If symptoms persist for 2 weeks or there is a change in symptoms, I would recommend having a CT scan.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards,
Dr. Dorina Gurabardhi,
General & Family Physician
