hello doctor, my name is Lakshmi. I got married on feb 10th 2015. after my marriage I am affecting by irregular period. after consulting with the doctor, they told affected by polycystic ovaries. it will affecting any problem to get pregnant? may I know reason what type of reasons people getting polycystic ovaries? and then what type of food to take for this type of patient? then what type of to avoid? plz doctor answer for it................

polycyclic ovarian disease or commonly known as PCOD is a hormonal disorder. mostly it is also associate d with hypothyroidism. so please along with the treatment of PCOD also get a thyroid profile and share your result. we.ll be able to provide help by treating the underlying aetiology.
