Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
What Causes Poor Appetite, Vomiting And Constant Diarrhea After Yellow Jackets Stung?
I was stung 96 hours ago by yellow jackets. It got me twice, three times, one more where my bathing suit was and once on back of shoulder. I ve been very sick. No appetite, throwing up, shitting constantly. I taste this metallic taste in my mouth. Could this be toxic poisoning? Serum sickness? My bpm fluctuates and oxygen 96-98. I am allergic. I loaded up on Benadryl and am still taking it. I could have an infection from the yellow jacket. Suggestions?
First of all, it's sad to know what you had been going through lately. Based on the history you have shared, you might have infection or serum sickness. I would suggest you consult an Emergency doctor and get your basic investigations like Complete blood picture. Antibiotics and painkillers will help you.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Take care
Regards,
Dr Saddiq Ulabidin, General & Family Physician
