What Causes Poor Appetite, Vomiting And Wrist Pain In A Young Adult?

Hi Doctor I am 25 Years old married female my height is 5 feet weight 48. I have been suffering from three or four days that i can not eat properly and feeling vomiting. Before thatI have wrist pain for which i x-ray that shows Scaphoid fracture. My Orthopedic doctor prescribe Indomethacin USP75mg,Baclofen BP10mg tablet and Pantoprazole40mg for my hand wrist pain for 2 weeks. I am taking this medicne for 10days. What should i do now. Could you help me out i would be happy.

Hello,

You have been prescribed Baclofen & Indomethacin to help reduce the pain & discomfort due to inflammation, stiffness & muscle spasm due to Scaphoid fracture.

Sometimes these medicines cause side effects resulting in nausea, vomiting or dizziness, etc.

You can inform your treating doctor so that other medicines can be given.

Some medical conditions that can cause nausea & vomiting are pregnancy, hypothyroidism, chronic liver disease, metabolic problems.

You are suggested to visit ER & get physically examined & evaluated. Your treatment will depend upon the discomfort detected.
