What Causes Poor Balance In A Person With Severe Allergy?

Hello. I have had allergy testing done and I am allergic to everything! I have taken allergy shots for almost 2.5 years and I have had tubes put in my ears twice. I am 42 years old. I also take Dymista the nasal steroid. My question is, is it normal for people like me to have sinus build up in ther skull to the point of throwing them off balance It makes me feel ill and I don t want to do anything. It worse in April I noticed. What else could be causing off balance if all my blood work is normal?

Hi,

The balance apparatus of the brain is located in the internal ear. It is called the Cochlea. Internal ear infection can lead to balance issues and nausea and vomiting. Nasal sinuses infection can be transmitted to the ear. Now April is a time for flowering season. Hence, it is possible that you are allergic to pollen in the air. Hence the infection flare up.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
