What Causes Poor Blood Circulation In The Arms?

My husband is 58 yrs old. He had some loss of circulation in his arms & hands for about an hour. Then some stomach pain after that ... that hasn t really gone away. He thought he needed a bowel movement, so has taken laxatives and nothing has sent him to the restroom. It s been 45 hrs. since this all started. Now he says he feels achiness in his neck muscles like as if he has the flu and a slight pain in his chest when he is lying on his back when he breathes?

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,

His neck pain can cause his hand complained, possibly due to pressure symptoms of cervical spine or cervical rib on the side.
This needs to be investigated and specifically treated by an orthopaedic surgeon.

Rest of his complaints are attributed to the constipation.
Please get him enema given at some nursing home for quickest results.
Followed by daily stool softner like Cremaffin (mild) dose as per his doctor's advise.

Hope I have answered your query.
Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
