What Causes Poor Eye-hand Coordination?

My husband is experiencing eye-hand coordination issues. For instance trying to open a vitamin bottle he felt like his hand wasn t working properly. This just started today. Very healthy 70 year old man. Grip is good. Just feeling off. Noticed a kind of disconnected numbness while sleeping last night, like wondering if he way lying on his own arm or mine. Again, just feels off.
