What Causes Poor Memory And Confusion?

I am 69 yo still work in medical records. But I get confused when I am doing things. If I have not done a task I used to do daily I forget what steps to follow to go in computer correctly. I get confused and forgetful with money matters. What do you think? I only want to pay for this time not an ongoing every 30 days.?

As you mentioned you have problem of confusion and memory loss that may because of Alzheimer's disease.
Above 65 year most common Alzheimer disease...
Change a blood supply to brain lead to this.
Some medicine and alcohol over use may cause confusion.
Poor nutrition or vitamin b12 deficincey also affect.
Consult a neurologist for further diagnosis.
Detail history and investigation give exact idea about problems..
