Hi, I have Hypothroidism. My thyroid is dead as I was given a nuculear pill many years ago. I now am permanantly on Lovothyroxin. I am 70 years old. My question is: Is one of the symptoms memory retention loss. Or am I just getting old? much thanks. M.G Langoni
I think Levothyroxine is not causing it but may be its less dose leading to hypothyroidism have a role as in hypothyroidism there is law level of B12 in body which is associated with memory loss. Either this or marely an old age is the cause.
