What Causes Poor Memory While On Zoloft, Adderall And Effexor?
I ve been making a lot of errors at work recently. I ve been forgetful, too. I find it difficult lately to get my point across to someone when I m speaking. Then, when they begin to speak - I have difficulty remembering what they say. I ve been on Zoloft for close to 20 years, Effexor for about 10, and Adderall for about 4. Zoloft - 150 mg daily, Effexor 75 mg, Adderall 5 mg 2 x a day. Just wondering if my symptoms could be tied to medications or something physical. I also take Zocor 20 mg day.
Hello and Welcome to ‘Ask A Doctor’ service. I have reviewed your query and here is my advice.
I passed carefully through your question and would explain that your symptoms do not seem to be related to adverse effects of the drugs that you are taking. I would like to know your age and past medical history. Depression or anxiety may cause memory troubles. Coming to this point, I would recommend consulting with a neurologist for a physical exam and cognitive tests. A brain MRI may be needed.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
