What Causes Poor Memory?

I know I don t eat well, I work in a warehouse where the outside temperature is over 109 degrees..I work 10 hours on the swing shift. I dont get enough sleep and then I wonder why I can t remember things. I am forgetting things that I thought I did or I am doing them again.

It looks like you work under stressful condition. If possible take a break from your job or switch over to another job so that your health conditions do not deteriorate. Forgetfulness commonly occurs due to depression, anxiety, malnutrition, stressful conditions (physical/emotional). Cut on addictions if any. Alcoholism causes confusion, difficulty in concentrating & poor memory.

Take home made nutritious food, whole grains, Omega 3 fatty acids, Avocados, dark green leafy vegetables. Stay cheerful. Apart from work, also engage yourself in activities you like, eg., singing, music, dancing, reading, hiking, fishing, picnic, etc. Take vitamin B12, vitamin E & omega 3 fatty acid supplements. Stay well hydrated, do regular walking & stay active. Go outdoors to stay fit mentally & physically. If your memory does not improve, you can get clinically examined to detect symptoms of dementia or Alzheimer disease.
