General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,

Short term memory loss often occurs due to deficiency of certain vitamins & fatty acids.

Take Omega 3 fatty acids supplements or food rich in Omega 3 fatty acids. Take vitamin B12, Ginkgo biloba supplements.

Excessive alcohol intake, drug abuse, stress, anxiety or depression can trigger forgetfulness.

To avoid forgetfulness stay away from addictions, cut on alcohol intake, take adequate sleep, stay mentally active, socialize, switch to a healthy diet & lifestyle.

Visit ER, get physically examined, get thyroid problems treated at the earliest.

Get MRI, CT, EEG done. Get treated at the earliest.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
