Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
I am losing my eyesight in one eye. My perifial vision is going but even more so on the inner side of that eye. Vision in those areas are turning Gray and darkening and getting bigger as time goes by. Could it be glaucoma or macular degeneration? I have 2 inoperable brain tumors on my brain stem. Should I see an eye doctor or my cancer doctor?
1) Do a neurological clinical exam by your Local doctor to ruled out neurodeficit 2) Do a fresh MRI to check the tumors size present inside brain 3) If above findings are normal then proceed to ophthalmology check up.
I hope I was able to address your query. If you have any further questions, Please do not hesitate to write to me. Wishing you all the best.
Thanks, Dr. Uday Nath Sahoo
